an ai generally used for coding. as long as claude exists, i think most developers will evolve into claude managers. meaning, someone who understands software will simply explain their intent precisely to claude and have the desired code written in a very short time.
as of now, it is inaccessible. the status can be viewed here: https://status.claude.com/
with sonnet 4.6 as a chat model, it has seriously fixed its everyday conversational mechanics. the semantic gaps are basically gone. it has become insanely good. i am not surprised at all that it caught the pentagon’s attention. it can genuinely pull off streetlevel humor now :)
if it maintains this level of popularity, then in no more than five to ten years, it will create a massive population of people who cannot think independently, generate ideas, solve problems, who become passive, reactive, and mentally fogged...
right now claude feels like the apple of ai systems. it’s on another level.
